The Wings are in Chicago tonight to take on the Blackhawks, who currently sit atop the Western Conference standings. Marian Hossa, Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, and Patrick Sharp are all completely on fire. The main weakness on this team may be in goal with the tandem of Corey Crawford and Ray Emery. They haven’t necessarily been bad, but just not incredible. Neither of them have been Jimmy Howard-like. Oh Lord James… we’re so happy you’re a Red Wing… Tomas Holmstrom is still out tonight. Darren Helm is also out tonight with a bit of a groin strain. Gustav Nyquist has been called up to take his place in the lineup. Justin Abdelkader will be centering the 3rd line in Darren Helm’s place. The 4th line will be all rookies, with Cory Emmerton centering Gustav Nyquist and Joakim Andersson.
